2. Overview

This is a purely informational, static website. We do not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, social media plugins, or contact forms, and we do not load content from third parties. All fonts and images are served from our own server.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Scaleway SAS, 8 rue de la Ville l’Evêque, 75008 Paris, France, which acts on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). The server is located in Scaleway’s data centre in Paris; data is not transferred to countries outside the EU. Each time a page is loaded, the server automatically records technically necessary data in log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the amount of data transferred, the referring URL, and the browser and operating system used.

We use this data only to deliver the website and to keep it stable and secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are kept only as long as needed for these purposes and are then deleted.

4. Contacting us by e-mail

If you e-mail us, we process the data you send us (such as your e-mail address, name and the content of your message) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete this data once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods (for example under German commercial and tax law) require us to keep it.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, please e-mail us.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.
